IAB South Africa Membership

The IAB South Africa’s membership includes Publishers/Bloggers and/or their appointed Advertising Sales Representatives, a Creative or Development Agency, or a Media Agency as well as Brands (see brand manifesto on Q&A page) and Educational Institutions.  Annual membership fees are R12 000, payable in advance.

Full Membership for publishers/bloggers, agencies, brands – R12 000 per annum
Start-up: under 15 000 uniques for publisher/bloggers and under 5 employees for agencies/non-publishers/brands – R2 500 for the first year of membership only after which member migrates automatically to the full membership level of R12 000 per annum!

All publisher/blogger members have to implement the effective measure tag on their site (this is an additional cost for sites with more than 15 000 UBs.  All publisher/blogger members must submit advertising revenue figures on a monthly basis to Nielsen Adex.

Education: The Knowledge Network aims to educate and transform the indsutry at all levels, starting with a schools programme, member and industry education on relevant topics at annual IAB South Africa workshops and events

Research: Exclusive reports from the IAB South Africa research studies and quarterly surveys.

Discounts & Ticket giveaways: 20% discount at selected industry events and exhibitions,and a chance to win a free ticket to selected events

Opportunites: to partner at events, to participate in RFPs and tenders as provided by the industry

Industry Awards: access to enter industry awards, i.e. The Creative Circle Quarterly Digital Awards)

Recognition and Reward: for the digital industry at the Annual Bookmarks awards and for creative agencies, the Creative Circle Quarterly Digital awards.

Networking: with other  members at quarterly meetings, workshops and other IAB South Africa events.

Exposure: to the industry at large, through  PR and marketing in online and offline press and through social media. Members’ press releases are also included on our site.
