Mark Tomlinson, Chairperson of the Digital Jury comments: “I’d like to open by saying that the judges were impressed with the rise in the standard of work. I think we all felt that the work coming out at the moment is showing great developments in concept, content creation and high end digital production, and represents a standard that we can be proud of.
Of notable mention and in first place, the honest, simple but touching work for World Aids Day from Gloo emotionally connected with all the judges, and stole the show.
In second place Ogilvy’s piece for Cape Town tourism was a fun and entertaining trip into a virtual social holiday, and continues to cement the perception that they are delivering excellent work in digital.
And in third place Hellocomputer’s work for Olmeca Tequila, to promote the Steve Aoki tour, demonstrated multiple creative digital elements to produce results beyond just social engagement, ultimately delivering solid sales for the Olmeca brand.”
