We are a global communications company and part of WPP, the world’s largest communication group. JWT was founded in 1864 in the USA, and we have been in South Africa since 1928. We have offices in both Johannesburg and Cape Town, with 140 employees, 51% of whom are black, and we own 50% of the media group Mindshare.

Our leadership team includes Kenny Setzin: Chairman, Modise Makhene: Chief Executive Officer, Thabo Phokane: Financial Director, Nombini Mehlomakulu: Non Executive Director, Judy van Dam: Managing Director Johannesburg and Jim Faulds: Managing Director Cape Town.

We are the 5th largest agency in South Africa, but being part of the world’s founding agency we like to think of ourselves as ‘Worldmade.’ We are a true through the line agency that develops ideas that people want to spend time with, offering solutions both above and below the so called ‘line’ and now we also include our own in-house digital offering as-well-as in-house radio production and film editing services.
